Anyway, hello! Uh, here I am. Making a journal. Not sure why.
I've just been getting increasingly sick of the fact that I haven't had anything new to talk about in months, so here we are.

I've spent a lot less time with people lately and a lot more time thinking to myself. My mode of communication for the past month or two has mostly been just throwing the things I like at anyone in my path, though, so I'm afraid I'm not exactly in a state to say anything particularly interesting. X];

Hullo! This is TJ Dorian, I'm the gal writing that Portal 3 comic. You said something lovely about it, said you liked it better than Homestuck, I believe? Anyway I've been looking for artists to help me with the end of chapter flash animation and I can't help but notice that your gallery is stunning. Love your work! So I was wondering if you'd like to contribute some art to the end of chapter animation? You could do just one or more still illustrations, or if you're up to it you could do a short animation sequence or whatever you'd like. If you're interested, I can send you the script. >: ]

I do have to warn you: I am notorious for taking a long time with finishing things, and the next two weeks are going to be a little crazy for me, so I might not be able to participate. It depends on when you’d want this done by. And doing an animation sequence sounds incredibly fun, but… I haven’t the slightest idea how to go about animating things. X) If only. I’d love to pull together a few illustrations, though!

haha i'm slow with churning out pages of my comic of late so no worries about a deadline.

i got 7 more pages to post before the animation, and then that animation itself will probably take me like, a month to finish. OTL so you should probably have like, a month and a half to work with.

still interested? want me to send you the script so you can pick something to illustrate? where should i send it?

Hey I had a thought of a painting style you might want to try. My painting class is doing paintings in the style of Chuck Close such as [link] and [link] . Basically you start with a gridded canvas ad a gridded picture and then you concentrate on each square as it's own little picture and exaggerate the shapes you see within it.

It's my pleasure-- and aww man, that'd be so badass! =D I bet he'll get a kick out of that. I hope you can catch him after the show! When I saw him in concert he couldn't come back out, but I think he usually hangs around afterward for a while, so you've got a good chance of it.

I'd like to add that it's especially awesome you're seeing him in Tucson. You guys are so special that he wrote a song just for you, haha. ♥ Sort of, at least.
I do wish Mr. Coulton would come over to the Midwest for this tour, but oh well. Just have to wait for the next go-around.
